In RG2 rat glioma cells, Bromodeoxyuridine induces a progressive, dose-responsive suppression of cancer cell line and cancer stem cell population expansion. In H9 cells and BJ fibroblasts, Bromodeoxyuridine alters the cell cycle profile.
