PEPA is an allosteric modulator of AMPA receptors; binds to the GluA2o and GluA3o LBDs and can be utilized as an indicator of AMPA receptor heterogeneity.PEPA dose-dependently potentiated AMPA-induced increase of [Ca2+]i.
